A driving force behind the success of Makkas Winery is the presence of their oenologist, Mr. George Gialitaki. With a degree in oenology and drink technology and a valuable work experience, he plays an important role in the winery. His responsibilities include supervising the Makkas vineyards as well as the vineyards of our partners. He is also in charge of grape processing, the fermentation of wine, the aging of red wines in barrels and bottling.
